Grow Solar is powered by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). Established in 1990, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. Together with partners around the Midwest, we work to expand renewable energy adoption through innovative programs like Grow Solar, renewable energy training, and educational events. The MREA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our headquarters is located in the rolling hills of Custer, WI, but our team members work remotely and in the field across the Midwest.
