Each Grow Solar program is administered by the MREA and a competitively-selected local solar installation company. Together, they guide participants through the program, from initial outreach and education to site assessments, contracting and installation.

Selected installers can expect the MREA and Grow Solar team to deliver free, public Solar Power Hour information sessions and market them widely with posters, email blasts, and paid social media promotion.
Power Hour presentations help interested property owners determine whether the renewable technology being offered in the program is right for them.
Presentations typically last an hour, including 15 minutes of Q&A, and are held either in-person or virtually. The presentations are the main driver of participation in the program, producing well-informed leads ready to go solar, saving the installer hours of marketing and education they’d typically handle on their own.
All selected installers will receive the Grow Solar Competitively Selected Installer badge. This badge will be displayed on your business profile in the member directory , and will also be available for display at the annual Energy Fair hosted by the MREA in Custer, WI!
